Product overview

Large-format sliding doors with effortless operation

Aluminium sliding patio doors use a bottom-rolling track system to glide large, heavy panels smoothly and effortlessly. Individual panels can reach up to 3000mm wide and 3000mm tall, making them ideal for wide openings in residential extensions, ground-floor apartments and commercial developments where a bifold door configuration isn't practical.

The 70mm thermally broken profile system incorporates a 34mm polyamide break, significantly reducing heat loss. Available in 2, 3 or 4 track configurations, panels can stack behind each other or to one side. A low-profile or fully flush threshold option is available for level access — particularly important for accessibility and building regulation compliance.

All panels are finished in T5 powder coat in any RAL colour. Multi-point locking with anti-lift protection on all sliding panels. CE marked to EN 14351-1. Supplied bespoke to your exact dimensions with an 8–10 week lead time. We supply to homeowners, architects, builders and developers across London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent and Surrey.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between sliding patio doors and bifold doors?

Sliding patio doors glide horizontally on a track and are ideal for very wide or very tall openings where individual panel sizes exceed what is practical for a bifold system. Bifold doors fold and stack to create a wider unobstructed opening but have a maximum individual leaf width of around 1200mm.

Can aluminium sliding patio doors have a flush threshold?

Yes. A fully flush threshold option is available, providing level access between inside and outside — important for accessibility and building regulation compliance.

How many tracks can aluminium sliding patio doors have?

Our sliding patio door system is available in 2, 3 or 4 track configurations, allowing panels to stack behind each other or to one side of the opening.

What is the maximum panel size for aluminium sliding patio doors?

Individual panels can be up to 3000mm wide and 3000mm tall within our sliding patio door system.
